Цели: совершенствование навыков письменной речи (составление рассказа на основе прочитанного текста); закрепление навыков монологической речи; актуализация фонетических навыков на материале стихотворения.

Оборудование: игрушечный телефон для игры; картинки по теме «Животные»; магнитофон.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Have you read funny stories about them?

(Дети выполняют упражнения для языка, а затем разучивают новое стихотворение для отработки английских звуков.)

Игра «Испорченный телефон»

— Now we shall play. I want one pupil to go to the blackboard. He will tell us about his pet but the telephone doesn't work well.

(Один из учеников рассказывает, остальные переспрашивают.)

Примерный ход игры:

— I have a dog.

— Do you have a cat?

— No, I don’t. I have a dog. My dog is black.

— Is your dog white?

— No, it is not white. It is black. His name is Bobik.

— Is his name Sharik?

— No, it is not. His name is Bobik. My dog can answer his name.

— Can your dog tell your name?

— No, it can’t. Etc.

Упр. 56 (с. 154).

— I want you to tell us about your pets which got a prize in a dog (cat) show. Works in pairs and listen to the stories of your friends. You may use the pictures and the photos of your animals.

— Who wants to talk about the pet? We shall listen to your stories all together.

Well done. Your stories are rather interesting and informative. Thank you very much for the stories.

(Учащиеся делятся на пары и слушают рассказы друг друга, затем они по очереди выходят к доске и представляют истории о своих домашних питомцах. Ученики могут вывесить на доске рисунки и фотографии животных. Учитель записывает рассказы детей на магнитофон (для журнала о животных). Полученная запись может быть использована в работе с другими классами или для оценивания рассказов старшими школьниками.)

Примерный рассказ:

I have got a cat. It is three. It is black and white. Its name is Pussy. My pet got a prize in a cat show. It can jump and climb very well. Pussy likes to run. It doesn’t like to swim. My cat eats meat, fish and potato. It drinks milk and water. I teach my pet to answer its name. Pussy is my friend. It is loving and curious. Sometimes my pet can be noisy and naughty. I love my pet.

1. Работа в группах

— Do you like to read stories about animals? Look at the pictures on my table. Now you will work in groups of three and create your own film about animals. You may use the pictures on my table.

(Ученики делятся на группы по три человека, каждая выбирает одну из картинок, заранее разложенных на столе учителя. На выполнение задания отводится пять минут, а затем ученики по очереди зачитывают свои рассказы.)

Примерный рассказ:

Two kittens are playing with a ball in the garden. Their mother is sitting and looking at them. The weather is nice and warm.

The big dog is going to the kittens. It wants to eat them. They are afraid of the dog. Their mother is crying.

A lot of animals are going to help kittens. The dog is going away. Mother Cat and her children are very happy.

2. Работа по учебнику

Упр. 53, 54 (с. 154).

— It’s time to write the summary of the story using the main points from exercise 53, page 154 in the textbooks. You may use them as a plan.

(Ученики выполняют упр. 54. Они используют пункты из упр. 53 или придумывают свой план рассказа. В конце урока учитель предлагает зачитать рассказы и выбрать лучший вариант.)
