Оборудование: картинки с изображением различных видов транспорта (ship, plane, coach, train); пластиковые монетки для настольной игры; оборудование, необходимое для проведения викторины.

Ход урока

(Учитель организует взаимопроверку выполнения заданий в рабочей тетради.)

III. Выполнение проверочной работы

(Ученики выполняют проверочную работу Test Unit 10с (с. 121) из пособия Spotlight Test Booklet 5.)

— Look at the map and read the title. What country is it? (It’s Scotland.)

— What do you know about Scotland?

(Ученики называют известные им факты. Учитель показывает картинки с изображением различных видов транспорта (ship, plane, coach, train).)

— Which means of transport we are going to travel? (By coach.) (Ученики выбирают соответствующую картинку.)

“All aboard!” is a call warning passengers to get on a coach, ship, or train that is about to depart.

(Ученики читают вслух условия игры, записанные в розовом поле и на зеленых карточках. Учитель объясняет, как пользоваться монетками для игры.)

— Play the board game in pairs and check. All aboard!

(После окончания игры учитель подводит итоги.)

V. Инструктаж по выполнению домашнего задания

— For your homework make a board game about your country.

(Ученики выполняют задание дома в мини-группах. Учитель уточняет детали выполнения работы.

VI. Викторина Geography Quiz

You’ve read about many countries this year. Today we are going to have a quiz. We need three teams. And I’ll be a quiz master.

(Ученики делятся на три команды, учитель объясняет правила игры. Капитаны команд по очереди выбирают фишки с номерами вопросов. Учитель читает вопрос и дает 30 секунд на обсуждение. Команда получает очко, если ответ верный. Если ответ неверный, то ответ предлагают две другие команды. Побеждает команда, набравшая большее количество очков.)
