Цели: закрепление навыков чтения и вопросно-ответной работы по тексту; актуализация грамматических навыков; тренировка произносительных навыков.

Оборудование: карточки с грамматическим заданием по количеству учащихся.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you.

— Where did you go last summer?

— With whom did you go there?

— What did you see?

— Did you visit any places of interest?

It’s interesting to find out how teenagers from foreign countries spent their summer holidays.

II. Фонетическая зарядка

— Look at the blackboard, please. I have written a poem there. I want you to read it. But first we shall read the new words from the poem. Repeat them after me, please.

(Учитель обращает внимание детей на стихотворение и новые слова, заранее записанные на доске. Учитель произносит слова, ученики повторяют их и отрабатывают произношение.)

Игра «Угадай»

— As I know you like to play. I shall think of the word on the topic “Summer Holidays”. Guess the word, please.

— What question shall we ask? (Is it “seaside”? Is it “visit”!) (Учитель загадывает слово по теме «Летние каникулы», а ученики пытаются его отгадать. Угадавший становится ведущим в игре и загадывает свое слово.)

Примерный ход игры:

— Is it travelling?

— No, it is not.

— Is it going abroad?

— No, it is not.

— Is it pick?

— Yes, it is.

— I think it’s time to check up your home task. Who is ready to act out the dialogue? Vova and Masha, go to the blackboard, please.

(Учащиеся парами по очереди выходят к доске и представляют свои диалоги.)

Работа по теме урока Упр. 65 (с. 25).

— The next task will help us to remember the Past Simple Tense. Read the text from exercise 65 on page 25 in your textbooks. You will open the brackets and use the verbs in the right form.

(На выполнение задания отводится четыре минуты. Затем учитель организует проверку: ученики по очереди зачитывают предложения и объясняют выбор формы глагола.)
