Цели: тренировка навыков монологической речи; актуализация навыков устной речи и чтения.

Оборудование: карточки с транскрипционными значками; три листа бумаги формата АЗ и фломастеры.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент

— Good morning, children! (Good morning, Maria Petrovna!)

— I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.)

II. Речевая разминка

(Учитель в быстром темпе задает ученикам следующие вопросы.)

— Hello, Ann. Nice to see you. How are you? ( I am fine, thank you. How are you ?)

— I am fine, too. And what about you, Vova? How are you? (I am fine, thank you.)

— I am glad to hear that. The weather is pleasant today, isn’t it? (Oh, yes. I agree with you. It is rather warm.)

— Kate, I’d like to ask you a question. (You are welcome. What would you like to ask me about?)

— Do you like to go to school? (Yes, I do. I like to go to school very much.)

— Why do you like to go to school, Kate? (I have many friends and they are my classmates.)

— And what about you, Nick? (I like to go to school. Our teachers are clever and kind.)

— What subjects do you like? (I like English and Information Technology.)

— What is your favourite school subject, Helen? (My favourite school subject is Literature.)

— Do you enjoy learning Russian? (Yes, I do. I enjoy learning Russian.)

— Who likes Maths in your class? (Tamara does. She likes Maths very much.)

— Do you have Russian every day? (Yes, I do.)

— What do you like to do at school? Do you like reading books? Etc.

III. Фонетическая зарядка

— Let’s practise the English sounds and words on the topic “School”. I will show you the English sounds and you will name the word with this sound.

(Учитель показывает карточки с транскрипционными значками, а дети называют слова с данными звуками. Можно усложнить задание и попросить детей не только называть английские слова, но и записывать их в тетради.)

Упр. 126 (с. 37).

— I can see many pupils in our class like to go to school. As you know there are some rules for pupils and for teachers at school. You can find some of them in exercise 126 on page 37 in your textbooks. Open your textbooks, please. Let’s read the rules aloud. Work in groups of four and decide what rules a teacher can write for his pupils.

(Дети делятся на группы по четыре человека и составляют школьные правила, с точки зрения учителя и учеников, в течение пяти минут. Затем представитель от каждой группы зачитывает свои варианты, а другие группы выражают свое согласие или несогласие.)

Упр. 127(с. 37).

— The next task for you is exercise 127 on page 37 from your textbooks. Read the word combinations to yourself and do the task.

(Учащиеся читают словосочетания про себя в течение двух минут и выполняют приведенное в упражнении задание. Учитель предлагает детям по очереди высказать свое мнение, используя данные словосочетания, а слушателям выразить согласие или несогласие.)

VI. Продолжение работы по теме урока

1. Составление рассказа

— I want you to work in pairs and make up the stories with the help of the word combinations from exercise 125 on page 37. You can see the beginning of the story in exercise 128 on page 37. Think of your story and then one by one you will go to the blackboard and we shall listen to your stories all together.

(Учащиеся работают в парах: составляют рассказы, используя словосочетания из упр. 125 (учебник, с. 37) и начала предложений из упр. 128 (учебник, с. 37). Затем учитель заслушивает рассказы и оценивает работу детей.)

Примерный рассказ:

Last year I had an English teacher whom I liked very much. I liked him because he could answer any question. Our teacher explained grammar rules for us. He put pictures on the blackboard and it helped us to remember new words. We often listened to the tape recorder and learned different poems and songs. We discussed our problems with him. He was our friend and we loved him.

2. Работа по учебнику, создание плаката

Упр. 132 (с. 37).

— Divide into groups of five, please. Open your textbooks on page 37, exercise 132. You will work in groups of five for eight minutes and then we shall listen to you and look at your posters.

(Учащиеся читают задание, делятся на группы по пять человек и в течение восьми минут оформляют плакаты по теме «Правила для учеников и учителей».)

— We shall have a competition now. You will go to the blackboard one by one and share your ideas. We shall discuss your posters and then choose the best one.

(Ученики по очереди выходят к доске и представляют свои плакаты. Учитель предлагает учащимся выбрать наиболее удачный (интересный, необычный).)

VII. Подведение итогов урока

— Do you like our lesson today?

— What do you like to do?

It’s time to say “Goodbye.”

Mind the clock

And keep the rule:
