воспитательный аспект — формирование потребности и способности понимать чужую точку зрения и стремления иметь собственное мнение; формирование способности и готовности правильно использовать своё свободное время;

социокультурный аспект — знакомство с различными мнениями британских подростков о наиболее популярных сериалах (East-Enders, Coronation Street, Neighbours, Emmerdale), телевизионном шоу The Real World, с популярным британским радиовещательным каналом Radio Capital и BBC 6, о роли радио в жизни подростков, со статьёй известной британской писательницы S. TownsendInformation Overload (part 2); развитие умений находить сходство и различия между образом жизни в родной стране и Великобритании, представлять культуру родной страны;

метапредметные результаты (развивающий аспект):

регулятивные — умения осуществлять контроль своей деятельности в процессе достижения результата, корректировать свои действия в соответствии с изменяющейся ситуацией;

познавательные — умения догадываться о значении незнакомых слов по аналогии с родным языком, работать с аудиотекстом: прогнозировать содержание текста по ключевым словам, выделять и фиксировать запрашиваемую информацию, осуществлять информационный поиск (пользоваться англо-русским словарём и лингвострановедческим справочником);

коммуникативные — умения работать индивидуально, выражать с достаточной полнотой и точностью свои мысли в соответствии с задачами и условиями межкультурной коммуникации;

предметные результаты (учебный аспект): развитие умения аудировать с целью извлечения конкретной информации, с пониманием основной идеи и с полным пониманием;

сопутствующие задачи: развитие умения фиксировать запрашиваемую информацию, выполнять задания в тестовых форматах (matching, true/false/not stated).

Ход урока

1. 1) Учащиеся высказывают свои предположения на основе знакомых, а также незнакомых слов, значения которых они выясняют с помощью словаря или догадываются об их значении по аналогии с родным языком. Таким способом происходит снятие лексических трудностей при восприятии на слух высказываний Кэтрин и Уильяма в упражнении 1.2).

1. 3) Учащиеся слушают высказывания одно за другим с целью понимания основной идеи. Во время прослушивания ставят галочки в соответствующих колонках.

Тексты для аудирования:

William: I just want to say that some soap operas are rude, violent and are full of bad language. And some other soaps are absolutely rubbish! EastEnders has become so irritating, boring and primitive. It is always the same in every episode! Everyone in my class watches EastEnders but I don’t know how they can. Last time I watched it, everything that happened was bad! Coronation Street is also really untrue and depressing with all its bullying and crime. How can everyone in one town or village be so unhappy? Emmerdale is not at all realistic. It is supposed to be a farm soap, but you never see any animals! The only soap I watch is Neighbours, but even Neighbours is becoming more serious. I thought soaps were supposed to be fun. They need to become better or I’ll turn the TV off!

Catherine: I think that soaps are realy good — they are entertaining and there is nothing better than to come home and watch them every night. I don’t think I will ever get bored! Most of all I love EastEnders! It is about real-life dramas, even though they are untrue (a little bit). EastEnders is so amazing, not because of the actors and not because of the storylines. The real reason why EastEndersis so good is the following: no matter how hard or miserable your life is, watching their depressing lives makes you feel much better about your own life! Coronation Street is also extremely entertaining and more realistic. It has a good balance of humour and tragedy. Emmerdale has a sensational storyline and all the characters are wonderful as well. I have been watching Emmerdale for about two years now but I don’t have a favourite, because all the characters are so brilliant and the actors are splendid ... As BBC Canada says, “In a country where it rains every other day, TV HAS to be this good. And it really is very good.”

2. 2) В течение 1—2 минут учащиеся просматривают краткие высказывания, в которых говорится о причинах, по которым британские подростки слушают радио, затем учащиеся слушают полные высказывания и записывают имена подростков полностью или ограничиваются только заглавными буквами.

Sam: I don’t normally listen to the radio, but sometimes I tune in because it’s a change from always watching TV. I love listening to BBC Radio 3. It is a serious classical station and at night it often transmits jazz, which I love a lot. BBC 6 Music is really cool too ’cause it offers rock. It is the only place where I can get reliable info on new rock singles.

David: Sometimes I listen to BBC 1Xtra which broadcasts rap, RnB and drum’n’bass. It plays all the newest and coolest songs. It is very entertaining and keeps you up to date. But most of all I like my local radio. It tells me about cool things going on in my area.

Katy: I’m always listening to my local station Fox FM, they play very nice music. And recently my mum won a car in one of their competitions. I like the fact you can now listen to almost every radio station through the Internet and Sky TV. I also listen to Radio Cymru which is a Welsh language station — it reminds me of my old town in Wales.

Olivia: I really like Capital. The only problem with that is there are so many advertisements and so much talking! I think there should be less advertising and also no talking over the songs! But on the whole the station is cool. It plays really good music and is very entertaining!

Emma: I don’t often listen to the radio, but when I do, I listen to Heart FM. When I was a little girl, I was driven to primary school in a taxi and we always had that (radio) on! It was so cool! Sometimes I listen to Radio 1, I can keep up to date with all the latest music, the celebrity gossip and news. It’s funny!

Ben: When I was a school boy, I listened to the radio every morning before school and every Sunday evening for the top 40. I think that the radio is a change from always watching TV, and you can listen to it almost anywhere. It informs you of music performances and plays really good music!

3. 1) Перед прослушиванием диалога учащиеся просматривают отдельные мнения о телевизионном шоу The Real World, затем слушают диалог между Трейси и Кевином и отмечают соответствующими буквами правдивые утверждения (T), утверждения, не соответствующие действительности (F), и утверждения, которые не прозвучали в высказывании (N/s). Для предупреждения возможных ошибок учащимся следует напомнить о том, чтобы они не путали ложные утверждения с теми, которые не были упомянуты в высказывании, но ложными не являются.

Tracey: What’s on TV, Kevin?

Kevin: The Real World reality show. It is always great fun! Look! Don’t you just love it?

Tracey: No offence, Kevin. But I think that this show is not fun at all. Mum says it is giving young people false ideas about life. And she is right. It’s definitely rubbish TV! Those who take part in the show are just stupid and the language is foul.

Kevin: What did you say? The language is what?

Tracey: I said that The Real World is full of bad language! And the show on the whole is rude and violent!

Kevin: Oh, yeah, to some extent it is.

Tracey: I hate The Real World show. It is a complete waste of time. Why would anyone want to watch people eat and sleep 24 hours a day?

Kevin: What did you say?

Tracey: Are you deaf? I was just trying to explain to you that there is nothing good in having a camera following people around all day long!

Kevin: No, there is nothing good in it. I agree. Let’s watch something else.

Tracey: Phew!
